Terms of Service

These Terms are between you and OpenSyntaxx. The legal entity name, registration number, registered address, and governing jurisdiction are to be added once finalized. Until then, references to OpenSyntaxx mean the operator of opensyntaxx.com, api.opensyntaxx.com, and the iosy product.

OpenSyntaxx provides public product pages, account management, downloads, subscription checkout, billing management links, email verification, SSO sign-in, and license activation services for iosy.

iosy is a local CLI for decompiling decrypted IPA files into Swift project output. The web service does not run decompilation jobs, accept IPA uploads, or host generated Swift output.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to create an account. If you use OpenSyntaxx for a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and promptly tell us if you believe your account has been compromised. You may not share credentials, transfer your account, or let another person use your subscription.

Subject to these Terms and your active plan, OpenSyntaxx grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use iosy for authorized manual use.

iosy may contact the OpenSyntaxx License Server to activate, validate, update, or revoke access. One user may have one active device session at a time. Starting a new activation may revoke the previous active device session.

You may not copy, resell, sublicense, rent, host, or provide iosy as a service to third parties. You may not remove license controls, bypass usage limits, or interfere with the OpenSyntaxx License Server.

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, debug, unpack, modify, patch, instrument, tamper with, or otherwise attempt to inspect or derive the source code, architecture, algorithms, keys, license logic, protocols, or other non-public internals of iosy binaries, installers, license checks, or related components. You may not bypass technical protections or help anyone else do so, except to the extent applicable law prohibits us from restricting that activity.

The Free Trial provides deterministic limited Swift file output so you can evaluate iosy locally. Individual and Commercial plans provide full Swift file output while the subscription is active and paid through.

Individual is for personal research, review, and investigation. Commercial covers paid projects, client reviews, company use, and other business purposes. Both paid plans are for manual use only.

CI usage, batch automation, pipeline integration, resale, redistribution, customer-facing services, and any API or hosted use of iosy require a separate written agreement with OpenSyntaxx.

You are responsible for making sure you have the legal right to decompile, inspect, store, use, and share any IPA files, generated Swift output, or related materials you use with iosy.

You may not use OpenSyntaxx or iosy for unlawful access, infringement, malware development, evasion of third-party restrictions, privacy violations, harassment, or any activity that violates applicable law or third-party rights.

OpenSyntaxx does not claim ownership of your IPA files, local project files, or generated Swift output. Your use of any generated output does not give you rights that you do not otherwise have in the original application, its code, assets, trademarks, data, or other third-party materials.

OpenSyntaxx owns the website, APIs, license service, iosy software, documentation, product names, branding, and related intellectual property, except for materials owned by third parties.

Paid subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Payments, taxes, invoices, saved payment methods, payment updates, and certain customer billing actions are processed through Dodo Payments.

You can cancel your subscription from your OpenSyntaxx account or through the billing portal when available. Unless Dodo Payments or applicable law requires otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and unused subscription periods are not refunded.

If a payment fails, is reversed, is placed on hold, or cannot be collected, OpenSyntaxx may downgrade access to the Free Trial or suspend paid access until billing is resolved.

We may change the website, plans, prices, trial limits, license policies, downloads, or iosy features from time to time. We may suspend or terminate access where needed for security, abuse prevention, non-payment, legal compliance, or violation of these Terms.

If we suspend or terminate your account, subscription, license access, or device session because we determine that you violated these Terms, amounts already paid are non-refundable except where a refund is required by applicable law or Dodo Payments policy.

We aim to operate OpenSyntaxx responsibly, but the website, APIs, billing integrations, and license services may be interrupted, delayed, or unavailable.

Each party may receive non-public information from the other. A receiving party must use reasonable care to protect confidential information and may only use it for the purposes allowed by these Terms.

You are responsible for protecting your local files, generated projects, machines, account credentials, and activation tokens.

OpenSyntaxx and iosy are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, OpenSyntaxx disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and error-free operation.

OpenSyntaxx does not guarantee that generated Swift output will be complete, correct, secure, suitable for any legal, business, or technical decision, or equivalent to the original source code.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OpenSyntaxx will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or substitute services.

OpenSyntaxx's total liability for all claims relating to these Terms, the website, accounts, billing, license services, downloads, or iosy will not exceed the amount you paid to OpenSyntaxx for the relevant service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot be limited by applicable law, including any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.

You must comply with applicable export control, sanctions, and import laws. You may not use OpenSyntaxx or iosy if you are prohibited from doing so under applicable law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to notify account holders. Your continued use of OpenSyntaxx or iosy after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
